WHAT IS THE EDEMAFLOW SYSTEM:

The Aircast EdemaFlow system provides continuous pulsating compression when walking or resting. It helps to reduce and control excess swelling and fluid in one's legs.

FEATURES:

1) Intermittent Graduated Sequential Compression

• Clinically effective in the management of edema due to venous insufficiencies and lymphedema.
• Safe compression pulsates to a maximum of 55 mmHg distally and 45 mmHg proximally. Pressures are dynamic due to the duplex design of the aircells when used in conjunction with the EdemaFlow pump or during ambulation. 

2) Collateral Compression

• More comfortable than circumferential sleeves.
• Semi-rigid outer shells allow for more efficient transmissions of pressure and movement of fluid.

• Brace fits into the show to allow the patient to "pump" without interruption in their daily activities.
• Increased compliance due to ease of application and comfort.
• Specify left or right leg.

4) Completely Portable Unit:

• Continuous application with car adapter, battery pack, or wall outlet.
• When ambulatory, disconnect tubing from brace. Graduated, sequential compression with the brace will continue pulsating while walking.

5) Optional Foot Wrap:

Manages associated foot edema. Can be used in conjunction with EdemaFlow braces.
