PHARMACOLOGY OF LEFTOSE: Lysozyme is an enzyme having a mucopolysaccharide-lysing action. It hydrolyses the B-(1,4) linkage between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetylglucosamine of the glycan chain of bacterial cell wall. Furthermore, lysozyme enhances the effect of antibiotics, and destroys or weakens bacterial cell wall. DOSAGE:
