All Aircast Air-Stirrup braces feature anatomically designed shells lined with the patented Duplex^TM aircell system. Within the Duplex system the integrated aircell provides increased distal pressure decreasing gradually towards proximal. Because the Duplex Aircell design is seamless, it provides consistent, uninterrupted compression without space between compartments where edema can collect. When walking the pressure pulsates, rising and falling with the muscular contraction and flexion of each step.
